Duo Taco was born when Roland Taylor and Lucia Garibay Taylor, brought two bold cultures together through one shared love -FOOD.

Roland, a self-taught chef who built his craft from pure passion and instinct, brings bold African-American flavor, soul, and fearless creativity to the kitchen.

Lucia, a true Mexicana born in Michoacan, Mexico, brings the rich, traditional Mexican flavors and culture she grew up with.

Together, they blended both cultures and created the fusion we didn't know we needed AFRO-MEXICAN!

WHERE IT ALL STARTED — CHESTER, PA

In 2021, Roland and Lucia took an abandoned, colorless, lifeless corner on a half block they acquired in Chester, PA. Roland’s hometown and brought it back to life.

Chester became the birthplace of Duo Taco and the beginning of a bigger mission: to bring color, culture, food, and new life to every community.
